Willie Gordons walking and talking tour was exceptional. Not just anout the rock art but his country, animals and plants and seasons and natural cycles, his familys history, their customs around important life events, the relationship between aboriginal people and later immigrants. Hes engaging and has a refreshing take on many things.Not to be missed.
Willy is a wonderfully sensitive and knowledgeable guide. He is also a really nice guy. The tour was well paced and informative. Would recommend it.
We, family of 4 with two teenagers, had a great day with Guurrbi tours. We drove ourselves to the site (hour drive from Cooktown ) and were greated by Willy Gordon. The short walk to the art is easy and Willy explains and shows all enthusiastically. His stories of the Aboriginal culture and history were extremely interesting.
